Dear parents and carers,
You will have read my letter earlier this week and know that I am planning to retire at the end of the Summer term. I shared this news with pupils in our assembly today. It will be very hard to leave but I’m looking forward to a wonderful Summer term here with our young people. As I said in my letter, Governors have begun a recruitment process and will hopefully complete that process early next term. I will keep you updated.
We’ve had a busy week onsite and this evening our parent group met on Monday and this evening, is hosting an evening for former members of the group and their young people. Thanks go to the parent group for their work in supporting our school. Thursday was Maths day and we took part in a number of special activities organised by Steph Cousins our Maths Lead. On Thursday evening we held our first meeting for the families of our Year 6 pupils who are joining us in September.
We break up on Thursday 30th March at 1-30pm. Pupils return to school on Tuesday 18th April at the normal start time.
Have a good weekend,
Eileen
