Dear Highshore families,

I hope this message finds you and your family well and rejuvenated after the summer break. As we embark on a new academic year, I want to extend a warm welcome to both our returning families and those joining us for the first time. I much look forward to seeing old and new faces on Wednesday 4^th September.

It seems like yesterday when I was anxiously and excitedly preparing for my first day at Highshore. I can confidently say this past year has been the most professionally fulfilling year I have had. I am very proud of what we were able to achieve. The new opportunities and new services we introduced but most importantly seeing the young people thrive. I also take responsibility for the bumpy rides and all the things that could have gone better. It matters a lot to me, and to the leadership team, to know what you think we need to do better as a school and for each of you individually.  We committed to maintaining open communication with you, as we believe that collaboration between home and school is key to the success of our students.

Our dedicated staff has been working diligently to prepare for the year ahead, ensuring that we continue to meet the individual needs of each student, fostering their growth academically, socially, and emotionally.

This year, we are excited to introduce new curricula and resources tailored to enhance the learning experience for our students and a new offer for you. We are also excited to welcome a new SALT team. You will find our news and more in our fully renovated website.

I encourage you to stay engaged with us throughout the year whether it's through attending school events, participating in meetings, or simply reaching out when you have questions or concerns. Together, we can create a positive and enriching experience for your child.
