Dear Parents and Guardians,

As the academic year draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the achievements and progress of our students, as well as to express my gratitude for your unwavering support throughout the year, especially as this was my first year as a Headteacher at Highshore—the best job in the world!

This year has been exceptional in many ways. Our students have demonstrated resilience, growth, and enthusiasm in their learning journeys, and we are incredibly proud of each and every one of them. Despite the challenges that have come our way, their dedication and determination have shone brightly.

Our dedicated staff have worked tirelessly to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment, ensuring that each student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The collaborative efforts between our staff, students, governors and families have been fundamental in fostering a community where everyone feels valued and supported.

We have had numerous highlights this year, including trips and learning in the community, SALT for all students, focused reading approaches, weekly learning information for parents, a school counsellor, and so much more. These accomplishments are a testament to the hard work and commitment of our students and staff, and we celebrate them with pride.

As we look ahead to the next academic year, we are excited about the new opportunities and experiences that await our students. We remain committed to providing a high-quality education tailored to the individual needs of each student, and we will continue to build on the strong foundation we have established.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to you, our families, for your continuous support and involvement. Your partnership is invaluable, and together, we make a significant difference in the lives of our students.

I wish you all a restful and enjoyable summer break. We look forward to welcoming our students back in the new academic year on 4th September, ready to embark on another successful chapter of learning and growth.
