World Book Day is a reading charity which aims to inspire children and young adults to read. Reading is fun. They give out £1 book tokens that you can get books from Waterstones, WH Smith and other book shops. 

Book Swap

At Highshore, we had a book swap. I loved the book swap. There was a huge table with books on it. I got to swap my book for the Dork Diaries book. 

The Cake

I at the cake and it was so yummy and delicious. It was a Harry Potter cake. I love Harry Potter. 

The Catwalk

This year, we had a catwalk. Every class participated i.e. Peckham Rye, Mudchute, Canada Water. All the classes went and strutted on the catwalk and everyone cheered. 

Teacher Swap

Georgios from Limehouse came to read Superpotato. IT was a picture book but it was fun. 

Decorate Your Door Competition

Every class decorated their door. They were amazing. Harry Potter door was great!
