If I had a favorite day, it would be a day that we all come to school looking like Romans. The day that I am talking about is like having a Roman day. Basically, I would like to learn more about the Romans and their lifestyle. I am sure that it was slightly different from what we do right now in the present. I’ll be interested of how they did multiplication in school . The reason being is because their multiplication was all in letters but not numbers. All I know about the Romans is that their time was very different. In the Roman times, I notice that they don’t eat any meat unless it is a tradition e.g. birthday. On that particular day I would like to make Roman helmets made out of a balloon, PVA glue and old newspapers. And when it gets to lunchtime, we should have vegetarian food like the Romans.

This is a really interesting post. Its very well-written with some good proposals.
This is a good idea and we could all learn a lot about Romans by having a day doing things in the same way that they did!
Well done.
This is a great post and lovely idea! I think everyone would look brilliant in sandals, togas and laurel wreaths!
Apparently the Romans used a hand abacus to do their calculations like multiplication, find out more here –

I agree, it would be great fun to have a Roman theme day. I especially like your idea of trying Roman Maths!
