Dear parents and carers,
Lots has been happening this week: On Monday we held our Year 10 parents evening onsite. On Tuesday we had our health and safety audit which took the whole day. On Wednesday thirteen parents of pupils in years 13 & 14 attended a transitions workshop which was run by SIAS.
The school council met on Thursday and are looking at suggestions to improve the playground. We will be organising further parent workshops throughout the school year. Do let us know topics of particular interest to you. Today we’ve had Governors visiting the school. Our parent group is meeting onsite on Monday from 10-45 am. Please contact Don Burford on info.hpgroup@aol.comif you’d like more information.
Today we are saying goodbye to Horace Walters who has worked here for over six years as a Teaching Assistant. Horace has worked across a number of classes and is well known to many of you. He will be missed here. Thanks go to Horace for everything he’s done to support our young people. Can we ask all parents to make sure your son/ daughter brings a coat to school. The weather is much colder and we do our best to get outside when possible.
