This is always one of my favourite days of the year and today was no exception. The school loos wonderful. Staff have worked so hard decorating their doors and every pupil has written a book review. Kevin & I had a tough job choosing the best review in each class.

Pupils wore an amazing variety of costumes as did staff. Highlights include: a crusader, a dalek, Red Riding Hood’s grandmother….do look at the photo’s on the website and see who you can spot!

Our assembly was a real celebration with poetry readings, book reviews and a new song for the day written by Gary. There were prizes given out for best book reviews and best costumes in each class. Our world book day cakes were made by Just Hospitality – huge thank to them. Vicky, our eldest pupil and Tiarnie, our youngest cut the cakes- which were enjoyed by everyone later in the day.

Thanks go to our parents, staff and pupils for their support in making it such a brilliant day!
