Today we welcomed ten pupils from Redriff school who spent the morning with us. The pupils visited as part of Autism awareness week. They knew a lot about autism and asked some good questions. After a tour of the school with Nick and me they spent break time in the playground with our key stage 3 pupils. Our pupils enjoyed talking to them and playing table football and football with the Redriff pupils.

After break the Redriff pupils learned some Makaton with Tony and Becky our speech & language therapists. This was enjoyed by everyone as was the drink and biscuits. Following this they took part in some SaLT groups with our pupils.

Thanks go to Redriff staff and pupils for coming over to visit us. We hope to keep up the link and to arrange future visits.
