In assembly today we remembered all those who died in the attack on London Bridge. We held a minute’s silence followed by Jeff reading a poem.

Following this our school council meeting welcomed Cilla one of our Governors. The council wrote a statement in response to the attacks and worked on ideas to make our playground peaceful.

We all stand together

We are nice to each other we don’t judge people

We help people when they are down

We don’t send nasty messages or say bad things

We share our ideas and listen to others

We don’t want anyone to be lonely

We promote hope not hate.

We want to stop people bullying, stop people hurting and stop people killing.

We want to make London and the World a better place for all
