The first meeting of the school council took place this week. As always new class representatives were eager to share their ideas which included more playground equipment and more opportunities to exercise and keep fit. Pupils talked about how best to spend their budget and will make a final decision once they have discussed ideas with their classes.

On Thursday 10A took part in a tournament at Battersea Park and 12J went to B&Q in order to purchase resources for craft lessons.

9S enjoyed sampling their pineapple upside down cake at lunchtime on Thursday and to round off a busy day we had around sixty pupils staying for film club who all enjoyed “Peter Rabbit.”

Today in assembly we looked forward to No Pens Day and National Poetry Day both of which take place next week. We are looking forward to welcoming year 7 parents to our Parents’ Evening on Monday. This will also be a good chance for parents to catch up with each other. Members of the parent group will be present on the evening.
